automate addons import

Hi,

Just wondering if there is an automated script or something similar to add addons to a project in xcode, without having to add folder by folder and file by file, yesterday I had a go with ofxBox2d and there are lots of folders and subfolders to add

Cheers

actually, with xcode, you can drag and drop folders and nested folders of code into a project, and it will automatically add the files and include paths, so recursive / adding a lot of files shouldn’t be a problem. You definitely don’t need to do it by hand on xcode. In other IDEs, you can add files recursively and then you need to add include paths. The only thing for xcode to be careful about is accidentally adding an “example” source code in – you’ll see an error if there are two main.cpp files, etc.

there are some scripts / wizards for other IDEs, and we’re working on more automatic systems for all IDEs.

take care,
zach

Oh my! and I was struggling all this time… I am glad is that simple
