Artnet / DMX over UDP anyone?

Has anyone done any work linking openframeworks to any Artnet devices (in my case the Artistic License Art Lynx O/P -> http://snipurl.com/yebnk)? For those who don’t know, these are pretty useful for extending DMX over LONG distances - for example where the control room for an art piece is a long way from what you’re controlling.

I’m happy to work on this myself - and once it’s done (or well started) I’ll release it to the community - but I don’t want to duplicate work if I can help it.

Hi Stefan, hope you are well, I’m also interested in in the use of artnet and general UDP communication with OF. Im fresh to OF but hope to make allot of progress over the next couple of weeks. Have you had much success?
