Trying to use ofxARKit with openframeworks. Once I generate a project with the ofxARKit addon, I am misisng the “ARKit.framework”…can’t really seem to figure out what is going on here. Can anyone give me any insight?
Are you using the iOS version of openframeworks with the right phone?
Then i guess to use it you need to do 2 things :
- change the ofxiOS-Info.plist file by adding this after updating the project with the project generator:
<key>NSCameraUsageDescription</key> <string>ARStuff</string> <key>NSMicrophoneUsageDescription</key> <string>ARSoundStuff</string> </dict>
- change the type of file of the Shaders.metal and the target of the file as described here.
It works with those changes for me, on mojave 10.14.1 with 10.1 iOS on an iPhone XR.

Just curious: does ofxARKit only work with devices and not emulators?
