App Crashing on launch

Hi everyone,

please excuse the generic question but I have written something using OSX 10.8.5 in XCode Version 4.6.3. the software seems to have a 1 in 3 chance of launching without crashing the behaves fine.

I have done some searching and I have read that ofSoundPlayer and ofxOsc could be potential problems.

Anyway when the program launches fine I get this message.
Couldn’t set thread priority

But when it launches and crashes I get this.
Couldn’t set thread priority
Bus error: 10

Then occasionally it gets even more exotic and I get this.
objc[17952]: autorelease pool page 0x2ac4000 corrupted
magic 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000 0x00000000
pthread 0x0

Illegal instruction: 4

If anyone has any ideas what I can do to try and solve this I would really appreciate it.

Just doing some general C googling and this use of char might be one of my problems. I think there may be others.

void testApp::drawNumbers(){
char dataStr[50]; // an array of chars
sprintf(dataStr, “%d %d %d %d %d %d %d %d”, tape[7], tape[6], tape[5], tape[4], tape[3], tape[2], tape[1], tape[0]);

franklinBook.drawString(dataStr, 105,335);
