Accessing part of a video

Hi, I’m new to oF and really starting to like it! Seem some amazing things that people have done.

My question:

How do I access pixel data (unsigned char?) from part of a frame of video? I’m trying to split a video up into quarters (and then hopefully n amount) and then drawing in separate regions of the screen in their respective boxes. Does this make sense?
