3D plane and texture


I am new to openFrameworks.

I’d like to draw a 3D grid plane and sky(texture image). But I don’t know where to start from.

Do I need to write a shader file?

Not necessarily. If you have the foreground/grid and background/sky as images, you can simply use ofImage (cf. documentation).

Yes, the background can be a load sky image but the foreground should grid that would be used for the coordinate system as ENU/NED.

Hi, you can use ofDrawGrid(…) command, which draws a grid as you describe. One command thats all. :slight_smile:
