0.9.0 documentation

Just updated the docs in the test site to track the latest version in master:

http://openframeworks.cc/0.9.0/documentation

there’s also now an introduction for each module which will hopefully make it easier to understand how the classes in each module interact and which ones need to use. this is for example the introduction for the application module:

http://openframeworks.cc/0.9.0/documentation/application/introduction.html

it’s still a work in progress and there’s only a few modules documented already but will be working on the rest before the release.

Does oF use doxygen to generate the docs? It would be nice to have an offline version included in the repo.

This is awesome! Thanks for all your work :hearts:
Haven’t seen the thread and got a pleasent suprise when I just visited the new documentation page.
OF 0.9.0 is quite a big step forward.

Great work on the release of 0.9.0. Unfortunately, I’m in the middle of a project based on v0.8.4. Is there any place to view v0.8.4 documentation now that http://openframeworks.cc/documentation/ has been updated to v0.9.0? Thanks!

we don’t keep a copy of the old docs. you could build it from source which is here: http://github.com/openframeworks/ofSite or just check it on archive.org https://web.archive.org/web/20150815194551/http://openframeworks.cc/documentation/

Ah, great suggestion on the archive.org!
